Scratchpad

Hello Everyone, it's Wazzupguys, and today I am here to remind you that from December 1st, 2024, you can pick which nominees for the the award categories for the Scratchpad Awards of 2024! Users have until March 1st to suggest which nominees you want to put to the chosen category, do not hesitate to comment down your suggestions below, for all opinions are welcome (unless they are rude and unbecoming).

In case you aren't sure what the categories are, here is the list of confirmed nomination categories that will be appearing in Scratchpad Awards 2024:

  • Writer of the Year
  • Breakout Writer of the Year (User who made substantial contributions while joining recently)
  • Legacy Writer of the Year (User who has been a long time editor on the wiki)
  • Mini-Wiki of the Year
  • Spoof of the Year
  • Recast Spoof of the Year
  • Spoof Actor/Actress of the Year
  • Mini-Wiki Sub-Article of the Year
  • Image of the Year
  • Scratchpad Classic Article of the Year

Here are the rules about Scratchpad Awards 2024 so that you are clear about choosing nominees:

  • All fictional articles made before December 31st, 2024 are qualified to enter. All fictional articles made afterwards will not be able to enter as a nomination for Scratchpad Awards 2024 but will be eligible to be selected for next year's Scratchpad Awards.
  • All fictional article nominations must have the matching category to enter into one of the category award sections.
  • If your fictional article does not have the category in its page whilst you nominate it for that specific award, feel free to add that category to your article or else it is unable to be selected.
  • It isn't necessary for your fictional article have any infobox of any kind in its page, whether you use it to make your fictional article look good is up to you.
  • It is, however, a necessity for your fictional article to be as presentable and detailed as can be. If it looks like it is half-finished, lacks polish or is otherwise not detailed enough, then the fictional article cannot be nominated.
  • Regarding the "Scratchpad Classic Article of the Year" award, fictional articles posted in the wiki in 2023 or older can qualify for this award.
  • Regarding the "Legacy Writer of the Year" awards, users who have made at least 5-10 articles and have joined the wiki for at least 1-2 years can qualify for this award.

So there you have it everyone. If you have any questions regarding the rules and the award categories, as I've mentioned above, do not hesitate to comment below. So without further ado, let the nominations begin!
