Hi Thomasadventure! I am SpikeToronto. When you want to flag a page for deletion, rather than blanking the page and/or replacing its contents with [[Category:Candidates for deletion]] or [[Category:Candidates for speedy deletion]], please use one of the following two templates:

• {{speedy}} → for deletions that qualify for speedy deletion
• {{delete}} → for deletions that require community discussion before deletion

You can determine which template to use by looking at Scratchpad:Deletion policy (shortcut → SP:DELETE).
