• In its original broadcast, the Season 1, 2 and 3 episodes are unrestored, but when it is brought to NBC during the re-launched NBC Kids, they do get restored as shown on HBO Family.
• The Season 7 episodes in its original broadcast use the Classic Series music in early 2004, but use the New Series music when it was on NBC Kids, and on HBO Family.
• Engines in the passing by sequence include Thomas, Gordon, James, and Percy.
• The Character Introduction segment is narrated by Alec Baldwin (for episodes 1-39) and Michael Brandon (for episodes 40-60).
