The Punkalicious Punkers is a fanmade American-Canadian TV series that is based off of Kuu Kuu Harajuku.

Sypnosis[]

When HJ5 break up during their final concert, everything seems to be at a loss for Music when she and her family have to move to America. Nobody seems to be going right for Music. There are no friends around, there's no style, and worst of all, there's no kawaii! Plus, without HJ5 around, how can Music be a rockstar now and show off her incredible music skills? Luckily, Music has a perfect idea. She decides to start a punk rock garage band right in her own house! G and Baby, also having moved to America as well, want to join Music in her band. Music says yes, and now, they rock their hearts out with their excellent punk rock music!! With their instruments being set up in the garage, they called their band "The Punkalicious Punkers". Music is the lead singer and the lead guitar player, G is the bass player (having made her own bass guitar out of a tissue box), and Baby is the drummer. They end up being famous around the world, thanks to the band's awesome music. Music and her friends are finally glad to make music and be rockstars again!

Plot[]

This show focuses on The Punkalicious Punkers, a punk rock garage band that was formed by Music and her friends G and Baby after they left HJ5. Unlike Kuu Kuu Harajuku/Kawaii Life, this show is more of an American-made spinoff to KKH, as it has American voice actors/actresses and even has an American flag at Music, G, and Baby's school. And just like KKH/KL, this doesn't take place at all in Harajuku City, and it takes place in Music's house in a suburban town where she lives along with G and Baby. Their normal clothes are still seen in the theme song, but however, they don't seem to be wearing their normal clothes at all in the series, and are seen wearing their band outfits everywhere, even in school. And unlike KKH, this show actually proves G, Music, and Baby's real ages. Love (Born February 27, 2003) and Angel (Born April 17, 2004) are still there, and are still their friends, but now Love is a scientist and Angel's a fashion designer.

Characters[]

Main[]

  • Music (Voiced by Avril Lavigne) - She's a 20-year old leader, singer, and lead guitarist of her band. She formed her band with G and Baby after HJ5 broke up. She has a tough and sassy attitude, so you don't want to mess with her! She has a garage where her band performs every day. She is sarcastic, genuine, and strong-willed, though at times she gets easily annoyed. She somehow is more aggressive, tough, and even more violent then her appearance on Kuu Kuu Harajuku. She was born on July 16, 2001.
  • G (Voiced by Ashley Johnson)  - She's the 18-year old bassist of Music's band. She is trustworthy and level-headed, though sometimes she has her doubts. She's the friendly, honest, and humble one of the band. She keeps the band together, even through their tough times, and is not afraid of any challenge. Her guitar is a tissue box made from a toilet paper roll and rubber bands. G basically uses the same voice that Johnson uses for Gwen Tennyson from Ben 10: Omniverse and Tulip from Infinity Train. She was born on June 19, 2002.
  • Baby (Voiced by Charlotte Nicdao) - She's the 16-year old drummer of Music's band. She is cheerful, bubbly, and energetic, though sometimes this gets her in trouble. She is the youngest member of the band, and she's very sweet and lovable. Her drum set is gray. Unlike Kuu Kuu Harajuku, she's actually portrayed as an African-American girl. She's more chipper, more energetic, and more sweeter and optimistic than her appearance on Kuu Kuu Harajuku. She is the only character whose voice actor stays the same as it was from KKH. She was born on May 12, 2005.

Supporting[]

  • Duncan (Voiced by Yuri Lowenthal) - Music's 16-year old older brother. He's very cynical and sarcastic, and always serves his sister torture. He's also the lead singer and guitarist of his own punk band, The Rocking Rezonings, The Punkalicious Punkers' rival band.
  • Randy (Voiced by David Kaufman) - G's 17-year old older brother. He's very lazy, demonic, and rude, and always tortures his sister. He's the bassist of The Rocking Rezonings.
  • Tyler (Voiced by Ogie Banks II) - Baby's 16-year old older brother. He's a sweet, cheerful, and lovable guy that always helps Baby out in any sticky situation. He's the drummer of The Rocking Rezonings.

Differences between KKH and TPP[]

  • This show is more of an American-made spinoff to KKH, as it has American voice actors/actresses (apart from Baby's voice actress) and even has an American flag at Music, G, and Baby's school.
  • Unlike KKH, this doesn't take place at all in Harajuku City, and it takes place in Music's house in a suburban town where she lives along with G and Baby.
  • This show proves G, Baby, and Music's real ages.
  • This show is more comedic and has more slapstick than KKH.
  • The animation WON'T be cheap and lazy, being animated by ToonBoom and having more traditional animation.
  • The show recieves a bunch of fanservice enough for the story.
  • Unlike KKH, which has Canadian/Australia VAs, this spinoff uses more American VAs.
  • Unlike KKH, which is aimed at younger girls, this show is aimed more to preteens and teenagers.
  • Music is somehow much more violent than in KKH.
  • Baby and G's personalities stay the same. However, Baby is much more chipper and an optimist.
