The Awful World of Ghastly Gayle

The Awful World of Ghastly Gayle is a animated segment show that airs on Crazy Junior. It premiered October 2, 2020 when the network launched. It is based off of the already bad cartoon The Wacky World of Tex Avery. It's produced by Ghastly Gayle's own company Les Studios Gayle.

It premiered the same day as Danger Strangers, Betty Universe and Naiya: Fake Detective

Segments[]

The Scream Girls - The main and first segment of the show. This segment features 3 teenage girls named FrankenStacy, Creepy Caroline, and Ghastly Gayle who try to make their heavy-metal garage band successful, but they always fail. They're also joined by their four enemies, Olie Polie, Pablo, Stanley Griff, and Kip, who'll stop at nothing to beat The Scream Girls. The Scream Girls perform most of their songs in FrankenStacy's house garage. Just like Franny and Diego, it too got a spinoff show when the show got cancelled in 2023, called The Terrible Misadventures of The Scream Girls, which is a semi-segment show that features new screamy songs, new scream girls cartoons, and just one non-scream girls segment called Ti & Dogsby.
Screamy Songs - The part of the show where The Scream Girls sing one of their annoying songs, and it always ends up failing midway through. The segment is a reference to Silly Songs with Larry from VeggieTales, only the announcer isn’t happy about Screamy Songs (except on the end of Song of The Coconut, when He says “Tune In Next Time for I’m Mad: The When Coconut Fred Comes Addition”. Some songs even parody Silly Songs, like The Stupid Gayle Girl from Vampirina in Episode 20.
Coconut Fred’s 1000 Enemies - Musical segments focusing on Coconut Fred going on adventures to either wreak havoc to other places or annoy his enemies. Just like Franny, Diego, and The Scream Girls, it too got a spinoff show when the show got cancelled in 2023 called Coconut Fred & Enemies, so White Socks and The Warners’ saga of trying to kill Fred would continue (Putting Coconut Fred Down was only a Nightmare Fred had, which was given by another enemy He will encounter on that show, Minerva the Owl).
Jay Jay Neutron - The Many adventures of a creepy troublemaking plane.
Bad Inappropriate Sonic - A Strange Unproduced Missing Pitch Pilot Episode Of Better Inappropriate Sonic Gets Ungrounded That Was Said Supposed To Come Out In 2014, But It Was Lost Forever. And May Not See The Light Of Day Giving The Creators Of Ben 10 Omniverse Fans Irritated And Rage. The Plot Would Involve The Main Character Who Is A 18 Year Old Porcupine Who Is Spending The Day In His Home With No One To Be With Him. However The Day Doesn't Go Much Quite As He Planned, Resulting A Hare Raising Adventure.
Dora Forces You - A game show-esque segment about Dora the Explorer forcing her contestants and everyone in the audience to watch their least favorite shows/movies. The audience and the contestants will try to tell Dora to stop, but she won't listen and forces them to watch anyway. Her monkey Boots also joins her as well.
Diego Kaboom - This segment is about an 8-year boy named Diego who loves animals to death, having fun with his cousin Dora, and loves saying "Say it louder! Everybody scream!" all day long. In this segment, when Diego hears or finds out about anything going wrong in his whole life (like, say, his parents wanting to go to an octagon store), he'll instantly explode and negatively ramble about whatever thing's going on in his life. Just like Atomic Franny, it too got a spinoff show when the show got cancelled in 2023 (Diego Kaboom (2023 Series))
Dragon Barney Z - After Defeating Perfect Cell In A Brutally Intense Battle, Goku Decides That He Wants To Kill Barney In Order To Save His Team From Him Terrorizing Them.
Diarrhea of A CGI Turtle - A turtle would constantly try to hold in his poop and sometimes even wear disguises. This segment, along with Jay Jay Neutron and Dora Forces You, were cancelled with this show while the rest moved on.
Atomic Franny - The many failed missions of Atomic Franny and her 2 sidekicks. When the show ended 2023, The Segment got its own spinoff series that came out months before the final episode aired. This segment was not in season 3 (with the last cartoon for the show being Fake Police Franny) because that was when production for the spinoff was starting and fears that there wouldn’t be any ideas for the spinoff, but only had 1 more cartoon for Season 3 Episode 1. The characters from the segment did continue having cameos, though.

The Scream Girls[]

Mina "Ghastly Gayle" Abigail (Voiced by Jessica DiCicco) - A 13-year old Japanese-American energetic and aggressive tomboy who's the leader of the group. The drummer of the band, and the main protagonist of her show, Ghastly Gayle will stop at nothing to make The Scream Girls' plans work. Everytime she and her band lose at most of their concerts, she always ends up throwing an incredibly violent tantrum, similar to that of Classic Caillou and George from Peppa Pig. Her rival's Kip from Higglytown Heroes. Her other rivals are The Backyardigans (especially Pablo) and Max & Ruby. Her real name is Mina Abigail, but since she thinks "Mina Abigail" is a girly name, she prefers to have "Ghastly Gayle" as her real name, and says it's "a more tomboyish name".
FrankenStacy (Voiced by Nika Futterman) - The lead singer and guitarist of the band. A 15-year old teenage girl who's the brains of the group, always knowing exactly what to do when she and the other Scream Girls get into any trouble. Whenever Ghastly Gayle throws a tantrum, FrankenStacy is often the one to calm her down. Her rival's Olie from Rolie Polie Olie.
Creepy Caroline (Voiced by Cristina Vee) - A 14-year old girl who's the bassist of the band. A shy and geeky nervous wreck who always falls asleep when listening to Ghastly Gayle's plans, saying that they're "Too dogsby", nodding a reference to The Shiny Show, where Mukka and Tigs always fall asleep during Dogsby's boring lectures. Her rival's Stanley Griff.

Coconut Fred’s 1000 Enemies[]

Coconut Fred (Voiced by Rob Paulsen (archive recordings) and Himself (new lines) - A highly annoying and overconfident coconut who's always happy no matter what's going on in his life. However, on the inside, what Fred doesn't know is he's secretly wanting to get rid of his annoying persona once and for all, but it always fails. He's joined by his friends, who, like him, are annoying as well. His catchphrase is “Yay Me!”. When He gets nicknamed, He’ll say “That’s (character that’s name’s the nickname) over there”, but when He gets called Coconut Yakko Wheezer by White Socks, He gets attacked. He was previously in Scruff’s Clubhouse as the one who brought Scruff his scruffsketools before they were separated to 2 different shows. He lived a previous life as a bobcat back in the 90s but died in November 1993 (2 months after The Warners Escaped) and was brought back to life as a coconut in 2005.
Shelley Kelly (Voiced by Pamelyn Ferdin (archive recordings from Detention) and herself (new lines) - Coconut Fred's best friend, an 11-year old cheerful and energetic girl who's willing to help Coconut Fred out in any sticky situation, be it big or small. She's also Coconut Fred's girlfriend, too and has a MooseTube account called Me&FredFTW WhiteSocks&WarnersFTL.
Maggie Pesky (Also voiced by Jessica DiCicco) - A bratty and mischievous fly who's one of Coconut Fred's friends. She's usually shown with some sort of frown on her face, as she usually does in her own cartoon. Whenever things don't go "her way", she'll act like Classic Caillou, just like her friends George Pig and Ghastly Gayle. When things don’t go Fred’s way, She blames Bella Flamenco, a character from other Crazy Junior Show The Menco Dogs.
Better Inappropriate Sonic (Voiced by James Arnold Taylor) - An immature useless blue Hedgehog who's also one of Coconut Fred's friends. He argues about not getting any toys, when little does he know they're not even on the show anyway, so he shouldn't have anything to worry about. He, like Coconut Fred's other friends, wants Coconut Fred's plans to always succeed, but most of Fred's stupid plans always fail, no matter how hard they try. He makes fun of Wakko Warner by saying that He wants to “Murder People”.
The 1000 Enemies
- White Socks (Voiced by himself) - A Fox who was an enemy to him and Scruff in Scruff’s Clubuouse and is still continuing to try killing him. He loves calling Coconut Fred “Coconut Yakko Wheezer” cause that’s when He summons the Warner Siblings to attack him (He likes doing nicknames just like Daffodil does in Clifford Reboot Dropouts). He’s really aware of everything Fred’s hated for, saying unforgettable stuff like “Even Your Voice Actor knows you knocked off Spongebob, Fred! You have 2 Patricks in your show! Talk about forced voice talent in a Knockoff!” (A reference to Rob Paulsen regretting voicing Fred, and a reasoning on why Yakko agreed the most to team with White Socks to get rid of him) and “You and Diego both came out September 2005, just like The Danger Rangers!”. H
- The Cue Singers - Three Cats who used to be backup singers on Danger Rangers and would sing songs that are always heard before White Socks shows up.
Mr. Greenrind and Bingo Cherry (Voiced by Michael Donovan and Britt McKillip) - A watermelon and a Cherry Who have the ability to spy on Coconut Fred. On the end of every cartoon. Greenrind says “Bingo, new rule! Fred’s not allowed to (insert here)” and Bingo says “Yes, Mr. G!”.

Josh.XML (Voiced By Kevin Shinick) - A Demonic Purple Porcupine Who Goes On A Killing Spree And Tries To Kill Dakari For Annoying Him In The Forest. Instead of Killing Dakari. He Accidentally Gets Killed By John Tuxedo At The End Of The Video Game Segment. Just Like Many Serial Killers Who Tried Their Best To Kill Children, He Appeared In The Intro Dancing With Other Characters Before He Starts To Kill Dora With A Dagger That He Has It On His Hand With Blood On It.

Dakari (Voiced by Tara Strong) - A Pink Hair Girl That Wears Goggles And A Scarf Who Loves To Go Explore Around Many Locations On One Of Her Adventures.

John Tuxedo (Voiced by David Schwimmer) - A Magician Who Is Busy Playing Too Many Video Games On His Sega Master System But Gets Sucked Into The Game That He Know Was Just Pirated Copy.

Dora Forces You[]

Dora (Voiced by Kathleen Herles) - An annoying, immature, and bratty 7-year old girl who's the host and main antagonist of her game show. She wants everyone in the audience and the contestants to watch their least favorite shows/movies, but the audience and the contestants know that Dora will screw everything up, no matter how hard she and her friends try. She and her friends had done a lot of bad things over the years. First, she was being disrespectful at her Noggin job in 2003 by sneaking in Moose and Zee's butts, then she insulted most of their Noggin friends, and even going as far as to say that "Moose and Zee should chop their legs off with scissors!". Moose and Zee, now getting completely fed up with her violent attitude and disrespectful behavior, decided to give Dora a piece of her mind. Moose, Zee, and all the other Noggin characters end up firing Dora for what she did over the past few years, and forcing Dora to watch her least favorite show, Miffy and Friends. Then, in June 2011, she woke everybody up for her 7AM playdate for no apparent reason, and finally, in 2012, she and her friends hijacked most of the classic Nick Jr. characters' moments to shine, since Dora wanted Nick Jr. to revolve around her and her friends, but the Wonderzoomi stopped Dora using their "Anti-Dora No Exploring Trap", a trap that Dora gets caught in if she causes too much trouble. Now, Dora wants everybody else to suffer through her favorite shows through her game show, and wants them all to watch the whole thing, but little does she know Moose, Zee and all their friends are there as well, always stopping through her every move.
Boots (Voiced by Harrison Chad) - An idiotic monkey who always agrees with Dora and, like Coconut Fred and Shelly Kelly, is happy all the time.
Cree (Voiced by Cree Summer) - A creepy teenage bird who always chirps every night at 6PM whenever Noggin signs off. She's constantly detested by all of the classic Noggin and Nick Jr. characters from all the chirping she's done. In fact, her chirping is not only hated by the classic Noggin and Nick Jr. characters, but by most people around the world as well, especially the kids. The kids call her a "creepy monster" and a "intimidating little demon bird" because of what she's done to them every night at 6PM. She first appears in “Webbed Up” in person.
The Contestants - Several different characters that get forced into slavery by Dora.
Moose A. Moose (Voiced by Paul Christie) - A kind, caring and thoughtful moose who's the main protagonist of the series. He and his best birdy buddy Zee will always stand up for what's right, and if any of their friends don't know what to do, they'll gladly help them out in any sticky situation. And if any of their friends are in danger, they'll save them and get them back to where they belong. Moose A. Moose is the opposite of Dora. Dora's a villain through and through: Rude, bratty, dumb, unhelpful, careless and annoying, while Moose A. Moose is a hero: Kind, generous, thoughtful, smart, and helpful. In the segment, when Moose and Zee hear that the contestants are being tortured, they'll swoop in and help them stop Dora and Boots. His catchphrases are “In Other Words...” and “Hey! There’s No Parking!”.
Zee D. Bird - A silent bird who's Moose A. Moose's best birdy buddy. Smart, cute, and useful, Zee will always help Moose out if he's in any sort of danger. She is also the whistler behind The Zeeter (Crossovian Twitter) social media website.
The #Wonderzoomi (Voiced by Sofie Zamchick, Teala Dunn, Danica Lee, Madeleine Rose Yen, Ethan Kempner and Donovan Patton) - A group of classic Nick Jr. characters who plan to stop Dora's forcing once and for all. They, along with Moose and Zee, will gladly help any of their friends if they're in trouble. Ming Ming & Milli couldn't stand it when Dora threatened to kill them and lock them up in a cage and forced them to be in her 7AM playdate, so now they, (Along with Geo, Tuck, Linny & Bot) are getting back at Dora for all the bad things she's done, along with Moose and Zee. They're one of Moose and Zee's friends, and if Moose and Zee get tortured by Dora, they'll save them and trap Dora and Boots in a cage.

Baby Jaguar (Voiced by Thomas Sharkey) is a marshmallow-obsessed Baby Jaguar who still appears and likes it when Diego explodes. His catchphrase is "Marshmallows Marshmallows Marshmallows! Rawr Rawr!" cause He gets to roast marshmallows whenever there’s any sort of fire, from explosion or not.
Alicia (Voiced by Constanza Sperakis) is Diego’s sister who is usually on his side, but in Can You Tell Me How to Get to Diego Street, She wanted to listen to Taylor Swift, against Diego’s anger while He was forced to watch Sesame Street.

Catato (voiced by Daniel Pathan) is a Kitten-Potato hybrid who is Maximus’ little sidekick. He is cousin to Cakey from Gabby’s Dollhouse and was considered to join him on the show but then when the market was erased for the playroom and Carlita was added, He moved in with Maximus.

Badge (Voiced by John DiMaggio) is a Big Police Dog who works at the local jail. His first appearance is in “Scream Jail Girls” and is not pleased with his son, Chase the Paw Patrol Police Pup because of His racism to cats, even though He is allergic to them and He should of listened to his dad to put on a suit when dealing with cats.
George Pig (Voiced by Oliver and Alice May) is the crying running gag of the show.
Peppa Narrator (Voiced by John Sparkes) is an offscreen narrator who the characters mistaken for God, since they can hear him but not see him.
Ringo Dingo (The Dora Forces You Announcer) is a Dingo who announces Dora Forces You and like with the rivals and their experiences with the segment stars, hates every second of it. Originally, His name was gonna be Bingo, but was changed to Ringo due to Bingo Cherry being on the show. He also breaks the 4th wall to bring out useless facts about what’s going on or something about what Dora’s forcing the contestants to watch.
Bella Flamenco (voiced by herself)
Brianna Flamenco - Appears in Dottie Calling Dynasty when She tells Fred that He’s now permentant Dreamland resident after He gets kicked from a cliff and says “Which Part of Call Her Dottie & You Die didn’t you understand?”, But Fred escapes by jumping from the dreamland gates in time for the next cartoon.

Dora Moon - Appears in Dora Joins the Scream Girls and Coconut Fred’s Snooze-a-Thon
Caillou - The Great Creeperhair’s pianist who does key banging. Before TGC, He has made cameos in some episodes, For Example: Give Me a Flavor, when He and many other troublemakers were tied to seats to watch The Animaniacs Reboot. He hasn’t really had any major roles.

The Backyardigayles/Physical Education Explosion/Midnight Diarrhea (August 12, 2021) - After tearing up most of The Backyardigans' clothes during one of Ghastly Gayle's tantrums, Ghastly Gayle must be forced to hang out with The Backyardigans for 1 day. Sick and tired of this, Gayle calls up her other bandmates, who realize that she's in trouble and decide to help her escape./Diego doesn't want to go to his physical education class at school./CGI Franklin ends up having diarrhea at midnight after having a humongous laxative dinner.

Octagon!/Flying High, Flying Fast (May 13, 2022) - Ghastly Gayle gets forced to watch the Only from Sony Wonder bumper by Stanley Griff and his family, and gets incredibly spooked at the bumper. Having nightmares about it when she sleeps, hearing it everywhere she goes, and sees it and hears it in multiple TVs at the TV store, Ghastly Gayle decides to put the Only from Sony Wonder bumper to a stop./Hiromi babysits Diego and Alicia while their parents are out on a date, and decides to let Alicia and Diego watch Noggin bumpers. What Diego doesn't know is that Hiromi's planning to make him explode by showing the Noggin: It's Like Preschool on TV bumper where Moose holds up an octagon./Herky challenges Jay Jay and Big Plane to a big race where they have to fly high and fly fast to earn a trophy.
Ghastly Gayle's Penguin Meltdown/Poop Buddies/Autumn Leaveigo (May 20, 2022) - When Ghastly Gayle is forced by Ruby from Max & Ruby to deliver a package to Pablo from The Backyardigans, she gets extremely angered when she sees that Pablo has invited his cartoon penguin friends (like Pingu, Henry from Oswald, The Penguins of Madagascar, The Wonder Pets penguin, The Team Umizoomi penguin, etc.)/CGI Franklin and Max the Puppy team up together when they're on a mission by Mike the Knight to poop all over Team Umizoomi's fountain headquarters. But little do they know, Milli's planning to trap them in a cage for all the bad things they've done./Diego wants to play with his animal friends in the autumn leaves, but Hiromi won't let him, and wants him to watch a Noggin commercial break with her. Little does Diego know that Hiromi's planning to make him explode again by showing the Octagon-shaped world game segment.

But little did they know that the Noggin sign off and The N's Creepy Countdown were actually from a Noggin commercial break on August 16, 2004, the same day that LazyTown premiered. Dora and Cree later fight the LazyTown gang in a boxing match after Dora said that "LazyTown's for lazy idiots!"./Jay Jay loves joyriding and flying loop-de-loops 1,111 times every day. But one Thursday, he runs out of gas and gets trapped in a bridge. There, he meets Blaze the Monster Truck, who become best friends quickly, after realizing that they're both trapped on a bridge together.

This angers Ghastly Gayle, as she doesn't want to "dress all girly", wanting to wear what she's proud of, but her bandmates Stacy and Caroline persuade her to wear a dress. This, however, angers Gayle even more and throws an incredibly violent tantrum./All the major characters do a Macarena parody./Diego gets jealous of Hiromi's awesome drum playing in The Octagon Band and wants to form a band of his own, with, of course, him as the drummer.

In the screamy song, The Scream Girls go surfing. The cartoon is a pilot to the Diego Kaboom spinoff.

The Step of Unglory Part 1/What A Day for Gayle & Kip/The Step of Unglory Part 2 (October 17, 2022) - In a semi-serious mostly episode length Atomic Franny cartoon (also the last ever episode length cartoon and last Awful World Atomic Franny one, all have screamy song gaps), Franny, Harry, and Butt Monkey get transported to the future. In the Screamy Song, White Socks musically narrates (with Gayle and Kip singing their lines) a story while the other rivals sing with him on the chorus. Like Marshmallow Mountain, The Step of Unglory is a spinoff Pilot.
Are You Nick Jr. Kids Closing Kidding Me?/The Big Race/I'll Show You "Pink Cookie"! The Scream Girls Finally Win/Putting Coconut Fred Down/Thank & Screw You at The Same Time for Coming Along (Series Finale, May 26, 2023) - The Scream girls finally get rid of their rivals, but don’t know what happens after they do./After The 1000 Enemies had enough of Coconut Fred, they put him to sleep (forever)./In the final screamy song, the whole cast sings about what happened throughout the show. This came out the same day as The Diego Kaboom Spinoff. The Atomic Franny spinoff came out January of that year, Coconut Fred's spinoff came out in July, and Misadventures of the Scream Girls came out in October.

The Scream Girls and Diego Kaboom started off at Hi Hi Lovely KittyEmma. What was Fred’s Awful World Pilot? Fred dealing with Zombies?
Whenever somebody crashes or throws an object off-screen, George Pig's crying is heard and the Peppa narrator says “Oh dear! George doesn’t like (insert here)”.
In the end credits, there’s always “PS” notes that are left having to do with one of the cartoons during the episode.
Every time a rooster crows whenever the sun rises, a troublemaker will tell it to "Shut up!".
Seasons 2 and 3 experiment more with the variety than season 1 that just had the cartoon segments.
