Swicegood Pre-emptive Treatment
- Clear scan = three rounds of VP-16 (100mg for 21 day, 7 days off).
- Questionable scan = higher doses of IV mesna or adria. for five consecutive days.
- Positive scan = surgery followed by radiation and chemo.
- Result =13 surgical procedures, 75 cycles of radiation, and an excess of 18 rounds of chemo. No reoccurrances in previous locations, but have had small (>1/2 cm) satelite occurrances.
