The following is a list of stages in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Some stages were seen in the trailers and do not have names.

Stage Creator[]

The stage creator allows players to make their own stage from scratch using elements from other stages. These stages can be saved or sent to friends or Nintendo. Nintendo will randomly send one stage to Wii owners each day and remove it at the end of the day.

Stage Info
Battlefield A stage featuring a flat platform with three flat platforms above it. Similar in design to the Battlefield stage from Melee. The time of day changes while the fight progresses.
Final Destination A completely flat stage with no platforms or hazards whatsoever. Made famous by Melee, and confirmed to return in Brawl.
Delfino Plaza A stage with one platform that flies around the Plaza and makes stops at various times. Similar to the Melee stage Mute City. Taken from Super Mario Sunshine.
Luigi's Mansion This stage features several floors that are destructable. Taken from Luigi's Mansion.
Mushroomy Kingdom This stage scrolls through a damaged and weathered version of World 1-1 from the classic Super Mario Bros. Occasionally it scrolls through World 1-2 instead. Taken from Super Mario Bros.
Mario Circuit A stage similar to Mute City from Melee. Mario Kart racers speed by as the players fight. Taken from the Mario Kart series.
Rumble Falls A stage that scrolls upwards. Similar to the Melee stage Icicle Mountain. Taken from Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat.
Bridge of Eldin A stage featuring a flat bridge. King Bulblin riding his Bulbo occasionally rides through and breaks a chunk of the bridge in the middle. The bridge piece eventually falls from the sky back into place. Taken from the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
Pirate Ship A pirate ship that eventually runs aground on a rock. Floating cannons fire at the ship and players. Taken from the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
Norfair Like at Brinstar and Planet Zebes, lava rises to burn players. Taken from the Metroid series.
Frigate Orpheon This small series of platforms rotates on an axis, similar to the Melee stage Brinstar Depths. Taken from Metroid Prime.
Yoshi's Island A stage featuring a flat platform with a tilting platform above it. Shares its name with a stage from both previous games. The season and weather changes while the fight progresses. Taken from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.
Halberd This stage takes place in the hanger and onboard Meta Knight's battleship, the Halberd. A cannon on the deck fires at players. Taken from the Kirby series.
Lylat Cruise A stage featuring a flat platform with three flat platforms above it. The fight takes place on the back of a space ship, flying through asteroids. As with the Melee stages Corneria and Venom, Arwings occasionally fire at the players. Taken from the Star Fox series.
Pokémon Stadium 2 A stage that, like the original from Melee, changes between different formations that affect the battle. Taken from the Pokémon series.
Spear Pillar This stage takes place on a two-leveled area, with Dialga, Palkia, and Cresselia appearing in the background. They shoot lasers across the battlefield and distort time and space. Taken from Pokémon Diamond & Pearl.
Port Town Aero Dive A small platform soars over the racetrack and occasionally lands in the middle of the road. Taken from F-Zero GX.
Castle Siege A castle on which the players fight while fireballs fly towards them. Eventually the floor breaks and the players fall into the throne room, where platform-holding statues can be destroyed. That floor later breaks too, and fighters fall into the underground. Taken from the Fire Emblem series.
WarioWare This stage cycles through various minigames and platforms quickly. Taken from the Wario spin-off series.
Distant Planet This tropical stage features dangerous creatures and hazardous flooring. Taken from the Pikmin series.
Smashville A stage featuring a flat platform with one flat platform above it. The time of day changes depending on the actual time of day, based on the Wii's internal clock. Various events occur in the background depending on the day of the week. Taken from the Animal Crossing series.
New Pork City A massive stage with many platforms and an "Ultimate Chimera" that occasionally attakcs players. Taken from Mother 3.
Summit This snowy stage takes place on a mountaintop. Eventually the summit slides into the ocean, where polar bears and fish attack the players. Taken from the Ice Climber series.
Skyworld A stage with one platform and three other platforms around it. The stage breaks apart as the players fight, but rebuilds itself quickly. Taken from the Kid Icarus series.
75m This stage has a large amount of moving platforms and ladders, along with an 8-bit Donkey Kong who attacks players. Taken from the original classic Donkey Kong.
Mario Bros. This stage has many platforms with various 8-bit creatures popping out from pipes. They can be used as weapons against enemies. Taken from the classic Mario Bros.
Flat Zone 2 This stage takes place on various LCD Game & Watch games, like the original stage. Taken from the Game & Watch series.
PictoChat A stage in which various drawings appear that can be fought on. Taken from the PictoChat drawing software included with the Nintendo DS.
Hanenbow This stage takes place on the leaves of sea plants that make music. Taken from Electroplankton.
Shadow Moses Island This stage features collapsing walls and attacks from various Metal Gears. Taken from the Metal Gear Solid series.
Green Hill Zone This stage takes place on a halfpipe with various flippers to harm enemies. Taken from the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
Temple A large stage with many platforms and areas to fight. It is unchanged from its appearance in Melee. Taken from the Legend of Zelda series.
Yoshi's Island A stage with sloped hils and breakable platforms in the center. It is unchanged from its appearance in Melee. Shares its name with two stages from the other games. Taken from the Yoshi spin-off series.
Jungle Japes A stage with three platforms over a raging river. It is unchanged from its appearance in Melee. Taken from the Donkey Kong series.
Onett A group of buildings with cars that speed through the bottom level. It is unchanged from its appearance in Melee. Taken from the Earthbound series.
Corneria This stage takes place on the top of the Great Fox. It is unchanged from its appearance in Melee. Taken from the Star Fox series.
Rainbow Cruise This stage takes place on a moving boat and scrolling platforms. It is unchanged from its appearance in Melee. Taken from the Mario series.
Green Greens This stage has three platforms and destructable blocks between them. The Whispy Woods in the center blows at players. It is unchanged from its appearance in Melee. Taken from the Kirby series.
Big Blue This stage is actually many racecars along a racetrack. Captain Falcon's ship appears alongside them. It is unchanged from its appearance in Melee. Taken from the F-Zero series.
Brinstar Lava rises to burn players. Taken from the Metroid series.
Pokémon Stadium A stage that changes between different formations that affect the battle. It is unchanged from its appearance in Melee. Taken from the Pokémon series.
