Welcome to the Scratchpad User Help page. This page is here to offer a central location for those who are participating with the development of this wiki to make general requests for help. For Administrator help, go here.
Note to users: Once a solution has been presented and implemented, please add the {{resolved|1=~~~~}} template with explanation (i.e., |1=), if the request has not already been archived. This is to help other users know when to archive completed requests.
Instructions:
What this page is for:
- Coding help. Requesting help with writing templates, making a nice user page, improving your miniwiki’s main page, or any questions on using wikitext can be asked here, and users will help to the best of their ability.
- Requests for non-administrative actions. If help is required with an action (e.g., moving a page), asking users here for help with that action is perfectly acceptable.
- Questions on how the wiki works. All the policies and processes in use at Scratchpad may seem a little overwhelming at first. If you need help in understanding any of the policies, or more in depth instructions on a process, asking here is a good start.
- Other questions to the users of the wiki. Any simple question may be asked here for a quick response.
- An all-in-one place to put things. Many of the Wiki’s procedures are lesser-known, so putting a note here is a good way to do something if the correct procedure is not known.
What this page is not for:
- Requests for actions involving Administrator tools. Please use Administrator requests for such requests.
- Larger discussion with other users on policies or other wide-ranging actions. The Noticeboard is a more suitable location to discuss larger changes to Scratchpad’s policies, procedures, high-use templates, etc..
- General chat (about Scratchpad or not). General chat about Scratchpad (or an off-topic subject) should occur in user blogs, user talk pages, Scratchpad’s chatroom, or Scratchpad’s forums.
Requests
Technical Deletion meaning?[]
I want to know what exactly is meant by "Technical Deletion", otherwise known as Housekeeping. A very useful page for a game with a convuluted method of downloading it got deleted via Housekeeping, and it's entirely unhelpful to have no idea why something was deleted. —The preceding unsigned comment was made by Ragterr (talk • contribs) 14:55, August 18, 2014 (UTC).

Blacklist categories[]
Hey I nee your help I was trying to set up a casting list for a prody involving the South Park villians are played by MLP villians so I typed in the categories South Park my little pony friendship is magic and South Park parodies it said one of those calories was blacklisted I I checked and name of them were so what exactly happened? —The preceding unsigned comment was made by Crazychaos12 (talk • contribs) 15:15, May 9, 2015 (UTC).
- Crazychaos, as far as I can tell, the issue was most likely the spelling of villains. You need to spell it in the categories as

Why was my editing was frozen?
Whenever I was trying to edit like normal, the loading is weird, I can't even try to edit even when the internet is working.
