This page documents an official policy on Scratchpad. It has wide acceptance among editors and is considered a standard that everyone should follow. Except for minor edits, please make use of the discussion page to propose changes to this policy. |
The permission is used for the original creator's edits. Make your own template, Template:UsernameRight. When an original creator tells you do NOT edit creator's article without permission, you need to ask first please (alt. only admins, content moderators, VSTF, and staff can edit).
How to ask an original creator
- First, see the page history to see the original creator.
- Second, in message wall, you need to ask the original creator before you edit with permission.
- Third, Add edit summaries after you ask the creator to edit with permission. (ex. typo, fixing, etc.)
What happens if you didn't ask
- If you didn't ask the creator first because you editing the creator's page without permission, you will get blocked for (infinity or number of days/weeks/months/years).
- In this wiki, Akari and Arizona, admins, or content moderators will give you a warning/block if you didn't ask the creator.
- Admins will revert your edits if you didn't ask the creator first or vandalizing the creator's page.
- Creator's favorite character will do something horrible to you (or attack you) if you edit without permission for not asking first.
