Sasuke Uchicha is the deuragonist of Naruto, and a member of the Hidden Leaf Village. He is the rival of Naruto Uzumaki. He became a ninja to get revenge on his brother Itachi for slaughtering everyone in his village in his childhood and keeping him alive to make him feel the pain.
Sasuke was the "popular kid" in class. Everyone respected him because he was talented at everything, and all the girls had a crush on him due to his "coolness", especially Sakura Haruno. However, Sasuke was completely apathetic about it.
However, as Sasuke got infected by the cursemark of hatred, he grew more obsessed with getting revenge on his brother Itachi, making him to leave his friends to get the power neccesary to kill him.
Luckily, Sasuke manages to redeem himself again after killing Orochimaru and slowly changing back to his own self.
