Popularity[]

Michael E. Rodgers is a decent actor, starring in many successful projects. Unfortunately, as of 2009, he is not that popular and well known in the USA, even though some people actually liked his performances.

Trivia[]

Thomas and the Magic Railroad and Penny on M.A.R.S are the only children's productions that Michael starred in. The rest of his appearances are in productions aimed at an older audience.

According to Britt Allcroft, the director of the Thomas movie, Michael has a great sense of humor, but it is unknown if his humor is dark or not, since we weren't able to hear his jokes off camera, although he improvised some of his lines/scenes in the movie, including the clever, but deleted "Sundae Surprise" scene, which was entirely improvised by Rodgers and wasn't included in any earlier script of the film. [1]

According to Michael E. Rodgers in a recent 2016 interview, he mentioned that he was very shy when he was very young. [2]

Some people thought the TV film Gia was his first film role, but it turns out that the 1996 horror film The Dentist was his first film role, as a minor character.

Michael can speak in Italian very well [3]
