- In the Archie Comics, Mecha Sonic is a roboticized Sonic the Hedgehog. In the Sonic and Knuckles video game for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, Mecha Sonic is a completely different character fought by Sonic and Knuckles in their respective stories.
