Bio[]
Mary was built in 1924 at Derby Works for the London, Midland and Scottish Railway. She first met James he went to Sodor. After her withdrawn from service, she was preserved by the London and Midland Southern Railway Preservation Society led by a man named Dave Matthews. Her assistant to the man was Adam, the Vice-President of the GNRPS. She first met James at London's Kings Cross with his slip coaches after so many years. However, there was financial difficulty with the management of the LMSPS, but with the help of Adam and Dave Matthews they managed to get James to take her back to the island, where she stays. She stopped some Troublesome Trucks from crashing into Edward at the bottom of Gordon's Hill and she was rewarded with her coaches - called Devin, Jordan and Zayn.
Model[]
Mary is based on the large-boiler variant of the LMS 4F Class, built in 1924. This is the only engine of its kind to be preserved.
