Madeline and the New House is the fourth Episode of Madeline's First Season.
The Episode's Teleplay is written by Martha Moran, based on the Story Idea by Judy Rothman Rofe and D.B. Sweeney and directed by Mark Ervin. It guest Stars Jim Henson and Ruth Buzzi as the Grouchy couple, Frank Oz as the Horrid Man next door, Edie Adams as the Snooty Woman next door, Buddy Hackett and John Candy as the Wrecking crew, Dorothy Provine as Madame Bagguette and Judy Garland as Madame Fromage. It's also the first Episode to star Billy Connolly as Lord Cucface.
The Episode won an Emmy Award for "Outstanding Editing in an Animated Program" and Martha Moran, Judy Rothman Rofe and D.B. Sweeney won the Annie Award for "Best Writing in an Animated Television Production".
