One of George Meyer's favorite Characters is Lulu. He wanted to do an Enviromential Madeline Episode involving Lulu and pitched the Idea. Executive Producer James L. Brooks suggested that it would be a perfect Episode, that pleased Meyer and he wrote the Episode by himself. Animator David Silverman animated the Dolphins, Mr. Sclomper and Mr. Roing searching for Treasure, the Scene where Lulu starts comforting an injured Dolphin, Wonka and Mr. Roing trying to get rid of the Hooks.
