- The following is a list of characters that appear in the British series of children's books, Horrid Henry written by Francesca Simon. It also includes names from the Citv TV series of the same name.

Aerobic Al[]
A sporty boy in Henry's class who likes to stay fit and healthy, he enjoys sport and keeping fit, and he also eats very healthily, although the sight of sweets can divert his attention. He also likes playing hockey, swimming and other athletics. He does ballet and is always on the lookout for new sporting equipment. Henry's friendship with him differs. In Horrid Henry's Sports Day and Horrid Henry's Swimming Lesson, Henry is trying to beat him and so is more horrid to him. In other stories like Horrid Henry Gets Rich Quick, Henry and him are more friendly together. In the TV series he is one of Henry's good friends.
Although he is good at sports, it is revealed in Horrid Henry and the Football Fiend that he is not the best at football, Moody Margaret is. However, it is hinted that Al is the second best, because he was the other team captain. He is voiced by Wayne Forester.

Beefy Bert[]
Beefy Bert is usually seen in the crowds of children at Henry and Peter's school. Whenever anyone asks him a question, his immediate answer is "I dunno", spoken in a thick dumb accent. He eats beef, hence his name. Henry is a fair-weather friend to Bert. However in the episode "Horrid Henry Gets Rich Quick" he actually said something other than "I dunno", he said "Have you got any food?". He is voiced by Wayne Forester.

Bunny[]
Bunny is Peter's adorable toy rabbit. It is Peter's version of Mr. Kill. His most major roles in the TV series are in "Horrid Henry and the Time Capsule", in which Henry gives Bunny to the capsule and rescues him, "Horrid Henry Trapped", in which Henry has Bunny in the hospital after he was injured whilst saving Peter from a falling shelf in the cellar and "Perfect Peter Pumps Up", in which Henry realises that the only way to turn Peter aggressive is to steal Bunny and make fun of him.

Clever Clare[]
Clever Clare is thought to be the smartest girl in Henry's class. She's thought to be a tell-tale which was shown in Horrid Henry's New Teacher. She is voiced by Joanna Ruiz.
Crabby Chris[]
Crabby Chris once babysat Henry. When she came, Henry hid her homework and "accidentally" poured red grape juice down her new white jeans. She refused to babysit Henry again. In the TV adaptation of "Horrid Henry and the Bogey Babysitter", all Henry does is pour the juice down her jeans.

Dad[]
Dad is the father of Henry and Peter. He is always yelling at Henry, but very rarely at Peter. He often shouts "GO TO YOUR ROOM, NOW!". Like their Mum, he has never trusted Henry to be well behaved. He agrees with Henry's Mum almost all the time. He is also extremely healthy, making Henry and Peter very healthy packed lunches, much to Henry's disgust. Peter often shows off to him and Mum by being well behaved while Henry misbehaves. He punishes Henry by banning the TV and/or the computer, but mostly resorts to cancellation or downward re-assession of pocket money. Although strict he appears to be slightly more tolerant of Henry by giving him second chances. His appearance is blue jacket and orange shirt and red hair. He is voiced by Wayne Forester.

Horrid Henry[]
Horrid Henry is the main character in the series who has ADHD. He sports tatty brown hair and extremely bad behaviour. He loves saving up money so he can buy the things that Mum and Dad normally refuse to let him have. He is the complete opposite of his brother, Perfect Peter, he hates school, homework and especially Perfect Peter and Moody Margaret and, sometimes, his own parents. He owns a hamster, Fang, who makes dog noises and is very violent and aggressive; again, he loves saving money to buy the things that Mum and Dad refuse to let him have. Because of his hard-to-believe bad behaviour, Henry is punished by usually not being allowed to watch television for some time, not allowed to go on the computer, reduction of pocket money, and, commonly, sent to his room; though none of these punishments have ever cured his ill behaviour. He was, however, well behaved on one occasion, though this lasted only one day. He is voiced by Joanna Ruiz.

Moody Margaret is Henry's next-door neighbour, she hates Henry and all boys. She is shown to be the female equivalent of Henry, Margaret hates Henry, although on some occasions they work together, usually to get Peter into trouble; her friend is Sour Susan, even though they fall out most of the time they are together. Perfect Peter[]
Perfect Peter is the complete opposite to his brother, he loves homework and never eats chocolate or confectionery (even though in "Peter's Horrid Day" he ate some chocolates just to get himself into trouble). He loves vegetables, he enjoys going to school, he has a grey Persian cat named "Fluffy", who hates Fang, Henry's hamster who makes dog noises, he wears grey school trousers, polished brown shoes and a red sweater. He loves showing off how "perfect" he is. He has blonde curly hair. He is, in fact, not quite perfect, as the way he tells on Henry so frequently suggests that he may just be looking to merely grassing on Henry rather than just complaining, sometimes he speaks in a serious voice during an argument over Henry's behaviour. It is also shown he enjoys it when Henry is told off. He wishes Henry would get into big trouble with mum and dad all the time. Although this happens every single day. Sometimes he can be naughty (In "Horrid Henry Tidies Up", he laughed at Henry when his trousers fell down. Also in "Horrid Henry Changes a Nappy", he laughed at Henry for being a "smelly nappy baby" (as he was wearing Vomiting Vera's soiled nappy on his head), however, he did get his comeuppance after Vera puked on him). Rich Aunt Ruby[]
Henry's Rich aunt and Stuck-up Steve's mum. She was first seen in Horrid Henry's Christmas, where she buys Steve loads of great presents and Henry "somehow" managed to help himself to a few of them, she was next seen in the episode Horrid Henry's Haunted House, where Henry scares her and Steve away from their house and gets to play with all Steve's toys. She has previously been seen in Horrid Henry dines at Restaurant Le posh, where she took Steve and Henry's family to a fancy French restaurant, and orders Mum, Dad and Peter the things they don't want. She also spoils Steve greatly and buys him anything and everything he wants. She usually says "hush Steve" after Steve offends somebody around them.
Rabid Rebecca[]
Rabid Rebecca is the toughest teen in town. She once babysat Henry and Peter. Henry had a tough job getting rid of her. She only appears in "Horrid Henry and the Bogey Babysitter" in the books, but in the TV Series she appears in "Horrid Henry and the Bogey Babysitter", "Horrid Henry's Smelly Stuff" and "Horrid Henry's Haircut". She is so strict and a hard soft touch on Henry and Peter. She wears an orange top, green tights, high heeled shoes, maroon skirt and the orange top shows her tits. She's voiced by Joanna Ruiz.

Rude Ralph[]
Rude Ralph is voiced by Aidan Cook. He is Horrid Henry's best friend, he seems to have a similar personality to Henry, and is well known to be rude. Ralph assists Henry is many of his plans, including plots to raid Moody Margaret's Secret Club, with him being a member of Henry's "Purple Hand Gang", or to torment Henry's younger brother, known as Perfect Peter. Although, Ralph and Henry don't get on with each other in other episodes, notably the television episode "Horrid Henry's Underpants" after Henry had been debagging he, Ralph and Bert. Ralph also attends Henry's school.

Sour Susan is Margaret's assistant and best friend, although they often fall out and say they hate each other as they are always arguing on what games to play, roles in those games, etc. She normally has a sour face and often acts grumpy. Susan is mostly a parrot to Margaret, and usually says "yeah, Henry" after Margaret offends him or proves him wrong. She is voiced by Joanna Ruiz.

Stuck-up Steve[]
Steve is Henry's Stuck up Cousin and his primary archenemy. Henry calls him "Stuck up" because of how rich and spoiled Steve is compared to Henry. He first appeared on the episode Horrid Henry's Christmas, where Henry helped himself to a few of Steve's presents, as on the episode Horrid Henry's Haunted House, Steve plotted revenge, but Henry scares him and Aunt Ruby away from their house and Henry keeps the house and everything in it to himself. When Horrid Henry goes face to face with Steve, Henry wins by eating all his snails. Henry hates Steve to pieces. He made a cameo appearance in Horrid Henry and the Alien Invasion. He is voiced by Aidan Cook.
