Biography[]
King Paris is the beloved king of Melody Land, husband of Queen Helen, and birth father of Princess Aphrodite. Years before his daughter's birth, he catches the evil sorcerer, Lord Gregor, using the Forbidden Arts to put a curse on Melody Land. As punishment, he banishes Gregor for good, but not before Gregor promises to get revenge someday and get away with it forever.
Shortly afterwards, the new princess of Melody Land is born. Informed by his ancestors of the future of their daughter will grow up to become the most beautiful girl in the land with a beautiful voice, King Paris and Queen Helen name their princess Aphrodite. However, Lord Gregor returns to Melody Land, as promised for revenge, transforms himself into a bat-demon monster, and attacks Melody Land, lastly kidnapping Aphrodite, much to King Paris' horror and sadness. Each year, on her birthday, King Paris had all his citizens play the most heartfelt music, in the hope that one day his lost princess will return.
