Father Christmas

Father Christmas is the traditional British name for Santa Claus, a figure associated with Christmas. Father Christmas is based on a Catholic saint, St. Nicholas, who was known for giving toys and presents to children during Christmastime. Part of a much wider mythological canon, Father Christmas has also made a few appearances in Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends.

Sir Topham Hatt is known to dress up as him during the Christmas holiday.
