Dennis the Lazy Diesel is the Fat Controller's number D9 engine. He was a very lazy diesel, essentially a male Daisy. He tried to trick Thomas into doing all his work. but after reversing into a ditch and with help of Thomas, he was able to finish his work and promised to be a Really Useful Engine from then on.
