Darth Maul is the first person to succumb to Mr Woo's mind comtrol and becomes his right hand man, Mr Maul. Once Sam Grant destroys the mind control device the spell is broken, Darth Maul is enraged and kills Mr Woo. Darth Maul is upset after these events and slips away, presumably still living in Weneswing. He appears again in Episode 4 and buys a sword from Octan and and in Episode 5 where he turns to the dark side and joins Johnny Thunder. Darth Maul has a sword fight with his rival Qui Gon Jin. At the end of the battle Darth Maul slips away with Johnny Thunder.
