Diesel 199 (nicknamed Spamcan and Old Reliable) is a character from The Railway Series. He planned to take over Sir Topham Hatt's Railway and prove he was better than steam engines, but he broke down when he tried to pull a train of Oil Tankers and had to be rescued by Henry and his former friend, Bear. Sir Topham Hatt was not pleased with him and returned him to the other Railway, but Bear got to stay on his railway with Henry.
