Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a 1991 Animated Children's Musical Comedy film released by Walt Disney Pictures, Paramount Pictures, DIC Entertainment and Children's Television Workshop. It's a Film Adaptation of the 1964 Book of the same name by Roald Dahl. The Film is written by Tony Geiss and Judy Freudberg and directed by D.B. Sweeney. The Film stars Steven Cole as Charlie Bucket, Lynsey Bartilson as Emily Douche, Mickey Rooney as Grampa Joe, Fay Wray as Grandma Josephine, Christopher Plummer as Grandpa Larry, Carol Channing as Grandma Lorraine and D.B. Sweeney himself as Willy Wonka. The storyline concerns Charlie and Emily, who takes a tour they have both won, throught the most magnificent Chocolate Factory in the world, led by Wonka.
