Story: Beatriz was born in the Madrigal family. Her father was Bruno and her mother was Delfina. But around the time Beatriz received her gift was when Bruno's reputation started going downhill. It got so bad that Delfina lost her trust in Bruno and decided the best thing was to run as far away as she could. She took Beatriz with her because Bruno's scary predictions made Delfina terrified for their daughter's future and she thought she would be safer with her. Years later, Beatriz and her mother were living in a secluded little house far away from the famous Madrigal home. Delfina had married another man who seemed nice and trustworthy at first but later turned cruel and abusive. He shouted at Delfina and Beatriz, blamed them for his life not being perfect, and even beat Delfina which eventually led to her death. This traumatized Beatriz greatly. Soon after the death of her mother, Beatriz ran away unable to stand another minute with her violent stepfather. Luckily, she knew just where to go. Using her gift of perfect direction, she traveled all the way back to the Madrigal casita and was reunited with her true family. She was especially happy to see her father Bruno again and he was happy to see her. One of Beatriz's favorite things to do with her free time is to read a good book. Her mother used to read to her all the time when she was little.
