Applejack and Rarity, retitled Applejack Gets Tricked for American audiences, is the first episode of Applejack the Pony and Friends. It is a parody of the Thomas & Friends episode Thomas & Gordon/Thomas Gets Tricked.

Transcript[]
Narrator: "Applejack is a Pony who lives in a big house on Equestria. She's a cheeky little pony with a ponytail, a pair of brown hats, a blond hair, and a cutie mark.
She's a fussy little pony, too, always bringing flowers about ready for the bigger Characters to take on long journeys.
And when characters come in, she brings the flowers back home so that the bigger characters can go and rest.
Applejack thinks no character works as hard as she does. She loves playing tricks on them, including Rarity, the biggest and proudest pony of them all.
Applejack likes whistling rudely at her."
Applejack: "Wake up, Lazy Bones, why don't you work hard, like me?"
Narrator: "One day, after taking some flowers on a Journey, Rarity arrived back at the sidings, very tired. She was just going to sleep when Applejack came up in her cheeky way."
Applejack: "Wake up, Lazy Bones, do some hard work for a change! You can't catch me!"
Narrator: "And off she ran, laughing.
Instead of going to sleep again, Rarity thought how she could get back at Applejack.
One morning, Applejack wouldn't wake up. Her dog, Winona, couldn't make her start. Her stamina was low and there was not enough strength. It was nearly time for the express. People were waiting, but the flowers weren't ready.
At last, Applejack started."
Applejack: "Oh dear, oh dear!"
Narrator: "She yawned.
She fussed into the station where Rarity was waiting."
Rarity: "Hurry up, you."
Narrator: "Said Rarity."
Applejack: "Hurry yourself!"
Narrator: "Replied Applejack.
Rarity Began Making her plan."
Rarity: "Yes."
Narrator: "Said Rarity."
Rarity: "I will."
Narrator: "And almost before the flowers stopped moving, Rarity reversed quickly and held the first flower's petal."
Rarity: "Get in quickly, please."
Narrator: "She whistled.
Applejack usually pushed behind the flowers to help them star, but the always let go of her first. This time, Rarity started so quickly, the forgot to let go of Applejack. Rarity's chance had come.
Rarity: "Come on, come on!"
Narrator: "Puffed Rarity to the Flowers.
The line went faster and faster, too fast for Applejack. She wanted to stop, but she couldn't!"
Applejack: "Hey, hey, stop, stop!"
Rarity: "Hurry, hurry, hurry!"
Laughed Rarity.
Flowers: "You can't get away, you can't get away!"
Narrator: "Laughed the Flowers.
Poor Applejack was going faster than she had ever gone before. She was out of breath, and her hooves hurt him, but she had to go on."
Applejack: "I shall never be the same again."
Narrator: "She thought sadly."
Applejack: "My hooves will be quite worn out."
Narrator: "At last, they stopped at a station.
Applejack let go, and she felt very silly and exhausted.
Next, she sat on a turntable, thinking of everyone laughing at her.
And then she ran onto a siding, out of the way."
Rarity: "Well, little Applejack."
Narrator: "Chuckled Rarity."
Rarity: "Now you know what hard work means, don't you?"
Narrator: "Poor Applejack couldn't answer. She had no breath. She just puffed slowly away to rest, and had a long, long drink.
She went home very slowly, and was careful afterwards never to be cheeky to Rarity again."
