Altered Beast is a 1988 video game made by Sega. It originated in arcades in 1988 and was ported to the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive in 1989. It was the pack-in title for that system until 1991, when Sonic the Hedgehog 1 took its place.
Neff, the villain of the game (in his rhino form) makes a cameo appearance in the 2012 Disney movie, Wreck-it Ralph.
