Alain/Aran is Astrid's boyfriend voiced by Jonathan Silver.
Plot[]
- He is the same age as Astrid and would do her best to battle Ash. He also has Charizard partnered alongside, along with other Pokemon in hand. He would also sniff Astrid's hair and massage her feet. He even goes to prom with her in a black tuxedo/pants/shoes combo. He would also give a bouquet of flowers to Astrid and walk arm in arm together to the prom. As they arrived they hear music by the prom and asks Astrid to dance in which she accepts before doing it together to Don't Stop The Music. After they danced, he would lift a foot hurt Astrid to the balcony to remove her heeled sandals that have the same reinforced toes from her normal outfit.

- He has black hair and blue eyes and wears a black, leather jacket, a blue shirt with a white undershirt, a pair of fingerless gloves, grey pants and black boots.
- In his prom night, he wears a tuxedo/pants/shoes matching his hair.
