A parody of A Chipmunk Christmas starring characters from the PBS Clifford the Big Red Dog franchise, including some made-up characters, created by CliffordFan2008 (Sydney Skidis).

Plot[]

The special starts out with a doctor visiting the family of a sick boy named Charley. He admits that the chance of Charley recovering before Christmas is bleak.

Meanwhile, the Doggies have a recording session. Clifford is not very happy about having to work on Christmas, but after Mark tells him that he can play his prized Golden Echo harmonica, he suggests that Mark can get everything set up in the studio while he and his brothers go window shopping. Mark agrees to this, and tells them not to be late.

At the music store, Clifford sees another Golden Echo harmonica, and tells his own harmonica that it's the best harmonica in the world. At that moment, Charley's mother and sister arrive at the store, and he overhears Charley's sister tell her mother that if Charley had the Golden Echo harmonica, it would make him feel better. Clifford feels bad about Charley's illness, so much that during the recording session, he can't sing in tune with the others. Mark gives the Doggies a break, so Clifford goes to Charley's house and presents him with his (Clifford's) own harmonica, returning in time to finish the session.

Unfortunately, later, while the Doggies are decorating the tree, Mark gets a phone call from Carnegie Hall that they want Clifford to play his harmonica on Christmas Eve. Clifford reveals what he did to Macold and T-Bone, and makes a plan to get enough money for a new harmonica.

The Doggies gather up all the cats in the neighborhood, and set up a photo booth, where children can have their photo taken with Horace Claus (Clifford). Unfortunately, the presence of a rabbit ruins the whole thing, and draws Mark's attention. Although he wants to know what happened, Clifford tells Macold and T-Bone that they can't tell Mark about the harmonica, as Mark gave it to Clifford long ago, and Clifford is worried that Mark's feelings would be hurt if he learned what happened. As a result, Mark mistakes Clifford's actions for greed, and sends him to his room. This leads to a dream sequence involving Larry Crashcup, who says that he has invented Christmas (which is now February 12) and Horace (Samuel Lincoln in a sleigh consisting of a hollowed-out pumpkin pulled by four horses). Clifford tells him he needs money, and when Mark comes to check up on him, he is saying "money" in his sleep, causing Mark to give up.

On Christmas Eve, two hours before the concert, Macold and T-Bone give Clifford the money they have saved up, and wish him luck on buying the harmonica. When asked where Clifford went, they lie and say they don't know. Luckily, just as Mark is complaining, he gets a phone call from Charley's mother, who tells him about Clifford's harmonica and the wonders it worked for Charley.

At the music store, Clifford is depressed, as he still doesn't have enough money for a new harmonica. Just then, a strange old woman appears, and buys it for him, only asking for a song in return, but disappearing by the end. Mark, Macold, and T-Bone arrive, and Mark apologizes to Clifford and tells him they have a surprise for him. At the concert, Clifford learns that Charley has fully recovered, and he joins the Doggies on stage.

At the end, Horace Claus returns to the North Pole, where he is greeted by his wife (the same old woman who bought Clifford the harmonica). As Horace flies over the city before returning home, we hear the Doggies singing "We Wish You a Merry Christmas".
