A Berry Scary Sequel

Loosely based on Pac-Man and The Ghostly Adventures, here is a Home Crossover.

Plot

• Pac-Man, Spiral, Skeebo and Cylindria have taken our heroes to a community center in Pac-World called: The Ghostly Gym run by Blinky, Inky, Pinky and Clyde. Even though Mary is scared of ghosts, the 4Kids contestants have declared a six-song battle with songs from New Kids on the Block, Atomic Kitten, Backstreet Boys, No Secrets, B*Witched and N'SYNC. Michael Angelis narrates six Thomas Stories from Halloween nights.

• Todd: (as she shoots photos of the ghost stuff) There's got to be ghost leaders around!
• Mary: Well, Todd, it feels to me that there's something spooky about to jump out of it at any minute right now!
• Andreas: What are you talking about, Mary?
• Mary: Probably something spooky and scary and...
• (Her words trail out as a Gastly appears on her face)
• Gastly: GASTLY!
• Mary: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
• (She flees from the Gastly and runs to a stop next to the exit, but as she breathes heavily, ghosts of different colors surround and scare her)

• (She shoos the ghosts away in panic and clutches her head in fright)
• Mary: (as a Gastly watches her) I hate them! I hate Ghosts of different types!
• Ash: (as they race over to her) Mary, are you alright?
• Mary: (wailing) This isn't...a ghostly gym, it's a torture chamber!
• Blinky: Wrong, little lady!
• (Everyone turns around, it was Blinky with Inky, Pinky and Clyde)
• Inky: This is definitely a Ghostly Gym, a community center with a stage in it, and if you don't mind us saying so, little lady, your ignorance is showing, cause everyone knows that ghostly types are the best thing in the whole entire world!
• (Mary growls her gritting teeth and loses it)
• Mary: (as she angrily punches a Gastly away) Don't you dare call me ignorant! Just who do you think you are?!
• (Pinky and Clyde pause for a second)
• Pinky: We don't have to tell you who we are!
• Clyde: You're the ones who ought to tell us what to do!

• (He blows his whistle, thus starting Haunted Henry)
• Mr. Guard 2: It was a moonlit night and Henry was working with Edward. The big green engine was taking a goods train to the station by the lake.
• (Owl hoots)
• Edward: Whenever that owl hoots, a mist rolls in.
• Mr. Guard 2: Murmured Edward.
• Edward: There's a legend that when the mist is about, there's a ghost about too. Take care on the old line, Henry.
• Henry: Stupid bird!
• Mr. Guard 2: Said Henry.
• Henry: Owls, mists, ghosts. Edward's going soft to the boiler. There's no mist.
• Mr. Guard 2: But Henry was wrong.
• Henry: What's that?
• Mr. Guard 2: Cried Henry.
• Henry's Driver: It's an amber lamp.
• Mr. Guard 2: Murmured his driver.
• Henry's Driver: That means proceed with caution. Who's there?
• Mr. Guard 2: No one replied. Henry crept slowly forward. He stopped by a tree. It had a sign nailed to it: Beware of The Viaduct. The driver was surprised.
• Henry's Driver: No one warned us about that before and look, the signal's red and the gates are closed. A-a-and there's a fogman's coat. But where is his owner?
• Mr. Guard 2: Then, they saw a light move within a station building.
• Henry: G-g-g-ghosts!
• Mr. Guard 2: Exclaimed Henry.
• Henry: Edward was right.
• Henry's Driver: Something very strange is happening.
• Mr. Guard 2: Said his driver.
• Henry's Driver: I think it's best we go back.
• Henry: So do I!
• Mr. Guard 2: Agreed Henry. By morning, the mist had cleared. A workman was talking about the unsafe viaduct.
• Workman: Lucky you didn't cross it last night.
• Henry's Driver: Yes, but we don't know who warned us?
• Mr. Guard 2: Replied Henry's driver. Later that day, he spoke to Henry.
• Henry's Driver: The viaduct has been repaired. We can take our train back along the old line tonight.
• Mr. Guard 2: Henry didn't really want to. But when nightfall came, he was sizzling nicely. Suddenly, an owl hooted and then Gordon thundered by.
• Truck: Oh look. Henry's spooked.
• Mr. Guard 2: Said a truck and the others giggled in their silly way.
• Henry: Be quiet!
• Mr. Guard 2: Snapped Henry.
• Henry: I'm not scared.
• Mr. Guard 2: But he was. A little later, the fog came down. As they approached the same area, they saw the amber light again.
• Henry's Driver: Here we go.
• Mr. Guard 2: Said Henry's driver. Then, unknown to Henry, the gates mysteriously closed by themselves and the signal went red. The trucks had seen all and they were spooked too.
• Trucks: Faster, faster. There's a ghost about.
• Henry: Stop, stop!
• Mr. Guard 2: Yelled Henry.
• (Henry and the trucks crash through the crossing gates)
• Mr. Guard 2: A mysterious figure watched Henry go by. Ahead was a landslide blocking the line. Henry braked hard but the trucks hit some of the rubble and plunged into the ravine.
• (The trucks fall down and crashed towards the ground with a loud Kuh-Thud)
• Mr. Guard 2: Just then, Henry's driver saw a strange sight coming towards them.
• Henry's Driver: What's that?
• Mr. Guard 2: He said. The fireman laughed.
• Henry's Fireman: That's our ghost. It's Old Bailey the Fogman.
• Mr. Guard 2: Old Bailey was very cross.
• Old Bailey: I tried to warn you about the viaduct. Why didn't ye pay attention?
• Henry's Driver: We're sorry we ignored your warnings.
• Mr. Guard 2: Replied the driver.
• Henry's Driver: Is there anything we can do to thank you?
• Old Bailey: I like to operate that old station again. If you let me, I promise I won't spook Henry.
• Mr. Guard 2: And in a little while, Old Bailey's wish was granted.
• The Fat Controller: You and your station will be really useful.
• Mr. Guard 2: Said the Fat Controller.
• The Fat Controller: Let's hear a hearty thank you to the friendliest, eh, ghost on the island.
• Mr. Guard 2: Everyone cheered. Especially Henry, who was the happiest of all.
• (Haunted Henry ends)
• Mr. Guard 2: So that's how Henry had quite a ghostly journey!

• Mr. Guard 2: The little engines were busy clearing their railway of leaves and broken branches. Peter Sam and Rusty often work together. One day, Rusty helped Peter Sam to a water tower. And once there, whistled goodbye. Peter Sam felt much better after his long drink, but the trucks were bored.
• Trucks: Let's break away.
• Mr. Guard 2: They giggled. Their loads were heavy and the coupling old. One snapped.
• Trucks: Faster, faster!
• Mr. Guard 2: Shouted the trucks. A sign read: Slow Steep Bends and Ravine Ahead. But the silly trucks never saw it. Then, it was too late.
• (The trucks fall down into the ravine)
• Mr. Guard 2: Peter Sam arrived at the scene of the disaster. His driver sighed.
• Peter Sam's Driver: This was our fault. We didn't secure them properly. We'll have to get help to pull them out. The Fat Controller will be very annoyed.
• Mr. Guard 2: And he was.
• The Fat Controller: You will shunt trucks in the yards til I can trust you again.
• Mr. Guard 2: Duncan was delighted with Peter Sam's dilemma.
• Duncan: Fancy not securing your trucks on a hill. They'll come back to spook you and your special funnel. Whoooo!
• Rusty: And who's to say you're not afraid of ghosts?
• Mr. Guard 2: Snapped Rusty.
• Duncan: Pah, ghosts!? Things that go bump in the night, Rubbish!
• Rusty: Well I'll tell you a story that will make your funnel quiver.
• Mr. Guard 2: Rusty said.
• Rusty: A long time ago, a little engine was returning home. It was a misty moonlight night. As the engine cross the old iron bridge, he suddenly lost control and plunged over the side into the swamps below.
• (A little engine falls into the swamps)
• Rusty: He was never found again. But many of workmen will tell you that when the moon is full, They had seen the little engine trying to get home. But he never reached the other side. So what did you think of that, Duncan?
• Duncan: Pah, nonsense!
• Mr. Guard 2: Replied Duncan, and he puffed away.
• Rusty: Never mind him, Peter Sam. He'd be frightened if he really saw a ghost.
• Mr. Guard 2: This gave Peter Sam's driver an idea.
• Peter Sam's Driver: Let's play a trick on Duncan.
• Mr. Guard 2: The next day he spoke to Duncan's driver and fireman who agreed.
• Duncan's Driver: We'll do it, tonight.
• Mr. Guard 2: Duncan had to take coal trucks to the slate mine and then bring slate trucks back. Duncan's driver decided as part of a plan to cross the old iron bridge.
• Duncan: Haunted bridge, pah!
• Mr. Guard 2: Snorted Duncan.
• Duncan: It's as tame as a pet rabbit.
• Mr. Guard 2: But all the same, he kept thinking about Rusty's story. When dusk fell, he was keen to leave.
• Duncan: If we don't go now, Skarloey will take my favorite place in the shed.
• Duncan's Driver: We can't go back until we've collected all the trucks.
• Mr. Guard 2: His driver replied. He could see the plan was working because Duncan was nervous. When night fell, they set off. The moon was full and the mists were rising around the old iron bridge. Duncan whistled and the sound echoed everywhere. Then, ahead, he saw flickering lights. His driver knew they were only little insects that shine brightly at night, but to Duncan they look like an engine. Next, his driver secretly threw a rock from the cab into the ravine below.
• Duncan: It's the ghost! Take me back! Take me back, please!
• Mr. Guard 2: When Duncan reached the safety of his shed, he closed his eyes tightly.
• Duncan's Driver: Spooked are you, Duncan?
• Mr. Guard 2: Laughed his driver.
• Duncan: No!
• Mr. Guard 2: Wailed Duncan.
• Duncan: I'm asleep!
• Mr. Guard 2: And refused to open his eyes. He did though when he thought his driver wasn't looking just to make sure that he was still there.
• (Duncan Gets Spooked ends)
• Mr. Guard 2: So that's how Duncan became a cowardly engine!
• Winslow: Just like the legend of Tooth-Pick-Head!

• Mr. Guard 2: Thomas and Percy are good friends, but sometimes Percy teases Thomas about being frightened and he doesn't like that at all. One evening he was dozing happily in the shed, but Percy wanted to talk.
• Percy: Wake up, Thomas. Are you dreaming about the time you thought I was a ghost?
• Thomas: Certainly not. Anyway, I was only pretending to be scared. I knew it was your really.
• Mr. Guard 2: Percy went on teasing him.
• Percy: I hope the guard leaves the light on for you tonight.
• Thomas: Why?
• Mr. Guard 2: Asked Thomas.
• Thomas: I quite like the dark.
• Percy: Oh really?
• Mr. Guard 2: Explained Percy.
• Percy: I am surprised. I'd always thought you were afraid of the dark. I wonder why?
• Mr. Guard 2: Thomas decided to say nothing and went to sleep instead. Next day, the Fat Controller came to see him.
• The Fat Controller: I would like you to go to the harbour tonight to collect something rather unusual.
• Thomas: What sort of something?
• The Fat Controller: Wait and see.
• Mr. Guard 2: Percy was moving trucks into a siding. Henry arrived with his goods train. The signalman switched the points and Percy waited on the siding until Henry had steamed by. Then, there was trouble.
• The Signalman: The points are jammed.
• Mr. Guard 2: Called the signalman.
• The Signalman: I can't switch them back. The workmen will have to mend them in the morning. It's too late now.
• Percy's Driver: Hmmm.
• Mr. Guard 2: Said Percy's Driver.
• Percy's Driver: I'm sorry, Percy. But you will have to stay here tonight.
• Percy: Where are you going?
• Mr. Guard 2: Asked Percy.
• Percy's Fireman: Home for tea.
• Mr. Guard 2: Replied the fireman. Percy was speechless. He watched as the other engines went home to the shed. Nighttime came and Percy began to feel very lonely.
• Percy: Oh dear.
• Mr. Guard 2: He murmured.
• Percy: It's very dark.
• (A screeching noise can be heard)
• Percy: Oh! Oh! What's that?!
• Mr. Guard 2: It was only an owl, but Percy didn't realize this.
• Percy: I wish Thomas was here too.
• Mr. Guard 2: He sighed. Thomas was waiting for his mysterious load at the harbour. Suddenly, there is was.
• (The Chinese Dragon appears)
• Thomas: Cinders and Ashes!
• Mr. Guard 2: Cried Thomas.
• Thomas: It's a dragon!
• Thomas' Driver: Don't worry.
• Mr. Guard 2: Laughed his driver.
• Thomas' Driver: This dragon is made of paper. It's for the carnival tomorrow.
• Mr. Guard 2: Workmen lifted the dragon onto Thomas' load loader and put lights all around it for protection. Then, Thomas set off into the misty night. Percy was asleep on his siding and had no idea that Thomas was approaching him.
• (Thomas and the dragon approach Percy and scare him)
• Percy: Help!
• Mr. Guard 2: Cried Percy.
• Percy: I'm not going to open my eyes until my driver comes.
• Mr. Guard 2: Next morning the points were mended and Percy puffed back to the junction. Gordon was just about to leave with the express.
• Percy: You'll never guess what I saw last night.
• Mr. Guard 2: Gordon was in no mood for puzzles.
• Gordon: I'm a busy engine. I don't have time for your games.
• Percy: I've seen a huge dragon. It was covered in lights.
• Mr. Guard 2: Gordon snorted.
• Gordon: You've been in the sun too long. Your dome has cracked.
• Mr. Guard 2: When the other engines heard the news, they laughed too.
• James: Look out, Percy!
• Mr. Guard 2: Chuckled James.
• James: Or the dragon may gobble you up!
• Percy: No one believes me.
• Mr. Guard 2: Huffed Percy.
• Percy: Maybe I did imagine the dragon after all.
• Mr. Guard 2: But Percy soon found out that he hadn't.
• Percy: Help! Save me!
• Mr. Guard 2: Cried Percy.
• Thomas: It's alright.
• Mr. Guard 2: Whistled Thomas. And he explained about the carnival.
• Thomas: By the way, how was your night out?
• Mr. Guard 2: Percy decided to tell Thomas the truth.

• Edward: They say that on Halloween, the ghost engine returns to the smelters looking for his lost "Whoo, whoo!" whistle.
• Engines: Ooh, aah, spooky!
• Mr. Guard 2: The engines said all shivering a little. Later, the Fat Controller arrived.
• The Fat Controller: Thomas, Percy and Duck, I have a special job for you.
• Mr. Guard 2: He said.
• The Fat Controller: You are to collect some scrap from the smelters yard tonight.
• Percy: On Halloween!?
• The Fat Controller: Don't worry. You'll be back in time for the fireworks.
• Thomas: Percy isn't worried about missing the fireworks.
• Mr. Guard 2: Teased Thomas.
• Thomas: He's a scaredy engine.
• Percy: I am not!
• Mr. Guard 2: Called Percy. But he was, a little. At the smelters, all Percy could think about was Edward's ghost engine. Thomas knew Percy was scared. So he teased him even more.
• Thomas: What's that up there?
• Mr. Guard 2: Thomas squeaked.
• Thomas: Is it a spook?
• Percy: It's just a piece of twisted scrap.
• Mr. Guard 2: Percy said nervously.
• Percy: Isn't it?
• Mr. Guard 2: Thomas was having fun. He kept on teasing Percy.
• Thomas: Careful, the ghost engine doesn't get you.
• Mr. Guard 2: Thomas said.
• Percy: There's no such thing as ghosts!
• Mr. Guard 2: Snapped Percy. Duck felt sorry for Percy

• Mr. Guard 2: Thomas boasted.

• Mr. Guard 2: So Duck and Percy left. When Thomas was by himself, every sound and every shadow was spooky. He was beginning to feel very scared.

• Mr. Guard 2: He said nervously.
• Thomas: Who's there?
• Mr. Guard 2: Thomas was so busy looking for ghosts, he didn't watch where he was going. The chains felt like ghost fingers.
• Thomas: Something's got me.
• Mr. Guard 2: Thomas wheeshed and set off an old steam whistle.
• (Old whistle blows)
• Thomas: The g-ghost whistle.
• Mr. Guard 2: Said Thomas. He raced away as fast as his wheels could carry him.
• Thomas: (echoing) The ghost engine is after me!
• Duck: It was naughty of Thomas to tease you, Percy.
• Mr. Guard 2: Said Duck.
• Percy: He was only playing.
• Mr. Guard 2: Said Percy.
• Percy: I hope he hurries up. I wouldn't want him to be late for the fireworks.
• Thomas: He's after meeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!
• Duck: I don't think he'll be late.
• Mr. Guard 2: Said Duck. Duck and Percy joined the other engines for the fireworks.
• Percy: Where's Thomas?
• Mr. Guard 2: Percy asked.
• Percy: He'll miss all the fun.
• Duck: It would serve him right after all his teasing.
• Mr. Guard 2: Duck said. But Percy was worried. He went to look for his friend. He found Thomas all alone in the shed.

• Mr. Guard 2: Said Toby happily. They came to a small seaside station. Soon, the children were playing in the sand, building a splendid castle. The Fat Controller inspected it.
• The Fat Controller: My word, it's a very fine castle. Have you seen a real one like it?
• Bridget: Yes.
• Mr. Guard 2: Replied the children.
• Stephen: It's here on the Island.
• Mr. Guard 2: And they showed him the map.
• The Fat Controller: Hmm.
• Mr. Guard 2: Pondered the Fat Controller. They met Toby at the harbour.
• The Fat Controller: Come on, we're going exploring. It will be a great adventure.
• Mr. Guard 2: Soon they were in the wildest part of the Island. They stopped by a lonely signalbox.
• Signalman: Where might you be going then?
• Mr. Guard 2: Asked the Signalman.
• The Fat Controller: We're trying to find an old castle.
• Mr. Guard 2: Replied the Fat Controller.
• Signalman: I know the place sir.
• Mr. Guard 2: Said the signalman.
• Signalman: There's a small junction not too far down the line. Just switch the points.
• Mr. Guard 2: When the fireman switched the points, their adventure really began. Toby pushed past branches and bushes till they came to another little junction. There they saw two signs. One read to the castle and the other to the mine.
• The Fat Controller: We'll go to castle first.
• Mr. Guard 2: Toby stopped by an old water tower.
• Children: There's the castle.
• The Fat Controller: Yes.
• Mr. Guard 2: Replied the Fat Controller.
• The Fat Controller: And now we shall visit the mine.
• Mr. Guard 2: Once upon a time, the mine had been worked by the little engines and their lines were still in place. But now everything is very rusty and overgrown. The Fat Controller was most impressed, but Toby was rather scared. He was glad when it was time to go home.
• The Fat Controller: I think the castle and the mine will make a fine place for visitors. But it will take a lot of hard work first.
• Toby: Yes sir.
• Mr. Guard 2: Said Toby nervously. The Fat Controller's plans were soon put into action. But Toby was still worried.
• Toby: I'm sure this place was haunted.
• Mr. Guard 2: He said to himself.
• Toby's Driver: It's our turn to stay here on guard tonight, Toby.
• Toby: Oh y-y-yes. Why not?

• Thomas: The old warrior ghost. Every night he lights his fire then goes hunting. Toot toot, goodbye.
• Mr. Guard 2s: Thomas replied. Night came. Toby looked anxiously around. Everything seemed rather spooky. Quite suddenly, he heard a strange wheezing sound.
• Toby: It's the ghost!
• Mr. Guard 2: He wailed.
• Toby's Driver: What ghost?
• Mr. Guard 2: His driver asked.
• Toby: It's the old warrior. He's come to hunt me down.
• Toby's Driver: Don't be so daft. We'll go and investigate.
• Mr. Guard 2: They returned quite soon.
• Toby's Fireman: The old warrior wants to meet you.
• Mr. Guard 2: Laughed his fireman.
• Toby: Can't it wait till morning?
• Mr. Guard 2: Replied Toby.
• Toby's Driver: Ghosts don't work dayshifts.
• Michael Angelis: Said his driver. Toby bravely made his way.
• Toby: Well bless my bell.
• Mr. Guard 2: He exclaimed. There in front of him was a little old engine.
• Signalman: This is your ghost, Toby.
• Mr. Guard 2: Said the signalman.
• Signalman: His name's really Bertram. But we call him the old warrior because he's so brave.
• Mr. Guard 2: Bertram and Toby are now firm friends. They take the visitors to the splendid castle and the mine. If there are any ghosts here, they certainly help to make the place very happy.
• (Toby's Discovery ends)
• Mr. Guard 2: So that's how Toby learned about Bertram!

• Mr. Guard 2: In the summertime, the branch line stationmasters enjoy a friendly competition for the most beautiful station on the Island of Sodor. The engines love to help too. One evening the Fat Controller came to the sheds.
• The Fat Controller: I want Percy to collect some flower bushes from Lower Tidmouth Station.
• Mr. Guard 2: He said.
• The Fat Controller: They're at Maithwaite.
• Percy: Maithwaite?
• Mr. Guard 2: Percy said.
• Percy: Y-y-yes sir.
• Mr. Guard 2: He added nervously. Percy chuffed anxiously through the thickening fog. He doesn't like travelling to Maithwaite at night. The line passes through a junction next to a spooky old quarry mine. Percy hoped the signal at the junction would be green. He didn't want to stop next to the mine. But the signal was red. He had to stop. Suddenly he saw something.
• (The chimney collapses like magic)
• Percy: Bouncing buffers!
• Mr. Guard 2: Cried Percy. His driver hadn't seen the old chimney sink into the ground. The signal changed. Percy was so scared, he steamed away as fast as he could. The next day, Percy was telling Donald and Douglas about the disappearing chimney.
• Donald: It's the naughty gnomes.
• Mr. Guard 2: Teased Donald.
• Douglas: Wee fat men with big feet. They make strange things happen.
• Mr. Guard 2: Said Douglas.
• Douglas: It's legendry. They steal your wheels and filch your funnels.
• Mr. Guard 2: Percy didn't want to believe them, but he wasn't sure. The Fat Controller was waiting for Percy at Dryaw Station.
• The Fat Controller: I want you to collect some trucks from the abandoned mine.
• Mr. Guard 2: He said.
• Percy: Y-y-yes sir.
• Mr. Guard 2: Percy answered. But he really didn't want to go there again. Percy hoped he wouldn't see anything else disappear. He slipped into the sidings and buffered up to the trucks.
• Percy: Spooky.
• Mr. Guard 2: Stammered Percy. Suddenly, another building at the old mine sank into the ground.
• (Another building falls like before to the ground)
• Percy's Driver: What was that?!
• Mr. Guard 2: Shouted his driver.
• Percy: Double bouncing buffers!
• Mr. Guard 2: Shrieked Percy. He was so scared, he lurched forward and rammed the truck.
• Percy: Naughty gnomes!
• Mr. Guard 2: Cried Percy. He steamed away faster than before, all the way back to Lower Tidmouth Station. Percy's driver told the Fat Controller what they had seen.
• Percy: It's the naughty gnomes.
• Mr. Guard 2: Cried Percy.
• Percy: They like to cause trouble. It's legendry.
• The Fat Controller: Nonsense.
• Mr. Guard 2: Said the Fat Controller.
• The Fat Controller: The old buildings are collapsing at empty mine shafts. That's all.
• Percy: But I saw the gnomes.
• Mr. Guard 2: Protested Percy.
• The Fat Controller: Of course you did.
• Mr. Guard 2: Said the Fat Controller.
• The Fat Controller: Garden gnomes.
• Percy: Garden gnomes?
• The Fat Controller: To decorate Lower Tidmouth Station.
• Mr. Guard 2: The Fat Controller said.
• The Fat Controller: They're not scary. Garden gnomes bring good luck.
• Mr. Guard 2: And he ordered Percy to return immediately and get them. Percy was scared, but he knew he had to be responsible. So he carried on.
• Percy: I'm not scared, I'm not scared.
• Mr. Guard 2: He waited for something else spooky to happen. But it didn't. And the Fat Controller was right. The garden gnomes weren't scary at all. His driver and fireman had collected the gnomes and Percy took them straight back to Lower Tidmouth Station. Later that week, the stationmaster thanked Percy.
• Stationmaster: We wouldn't have won our competition without your garden gnomes.
• Mr. Guard 2: Percy was very proud.
• Percy: You were right, sir, naughty gnomes can be lucky after all.
