8 Shields Background & Credits

This intrepretation of the Eight Shields Organization Model (aka Acorn Model) is based on a presentation by Alan Seid at the FIC Org meetings in 11/05 at Los Angeles Ecovillage. Alan described this model as coming from the work of Jon Young, founder of Wilderness Awareness School and indicated that it has been shared primarily using an oral tradition. The initial version of the content was originally reconstructed from notes and memories of Craig Ragland and Fred Lanphear.
